Storytelling plays a big part in our seasonal concepts \u2013 as a creative team, we strive for each concept to have a clear point of view told through our merchandising and artful displays.<\/em>Where do you look for inspiration?<br \/>\n<em>Nature \u2013 whether it is a walk through the woods or going to the <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantabg.org\/\">Atlanta Botanical Gardens<\/a>, I always leave feeling inspired and energized. I also love the High Museum; it\u2019s hard to not be inspired when you\u2019re surrounded by priceless works of art. If I\u2019m looking for a more instant source of inspiration, Instagram is my go-to. Plants have so many benefits when used indoors. Not only do they make spaces more beautiful, but they have an incredible number of health benefits, purify the air, and are proven to increase productivity. Bonus points when they\u2019re potted in one of AD\u2019s containers!<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Current favorite AD product?<br \/>\n<em>I love the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.accentdecor.com\/Domino-Vase-domino\/\">Domino Vase<\/a> for multiple reasons: it is clean, modern, and slightly playful with its&#8217; asymmetrical gold leafing. I\u2019m so proud of what we\u2019ve accomplished \u2013 I believe our customers will be incredibly inspired and delighted with what they see and experience. I\u2019m especially excited for our customers to see our expanded Atlanta showroom \u2013 it is gorgeous!<\/em><\/p>\n<p>What are your hobbies \/ things you enjoy outside of work?<br \/>\n<em>I love spending time outdoors; I am attempting my hand at gardening \u2013 both the floral kind and the vegetable kind. I love to travel \u2013 I don\u2019t think I\u2019ve met a place I haven\u2019t liked. However, if I have to choose one favorite, it would be Italy. I studied in Tuscany in college and now my brother and his family live outside of Venice, so Italy will always hold a special place in my heart. The plethora of art, architecture, history, food, wine\u2026what more could you ask for?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>What\u2019s the first thing you do in the mornings?<br \/>\n<em>Hit snooze. Make coffee.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>What\u2019s your favorite part about working at AD, so far?<br \/>\n<em>Again, tough question! Can I say my two favorite parts? The first would be the people: Accent Decor truly does feel like a family. Everyone is kind, supportive, and I\u2019m constantly inspired and motivated by my team. We spend a lot of time together in the set-up process, and I can honestly say we have fun together every single day. Secondly, I love my actual job! Being able to work with beautiful product and create displays that make it even more beautiful\u2026what a dream.
