The porous terracotta will soak up the water and provide the right amount of moisture for the plant. This pot for planting is great for someone who isn&#8217;t a natural green thumb. The soil and plant will absorb just the right amount of water it needs through the terracotta walls. Just keep the reservoir filled about half way and replace the water every week or two.
