She is now co-owner and the Marketing Manager. Margaret puts in long hours and works harder than anyone else I know, which is even more impressive once you hear Margaret\u2019s story\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Margaret attended Sheraton College, an art school in Ontario, Canada. She graduated, had 3 children, and loved her work illustrating for children\u2019s books. It was then that she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/lh3.googleusercontent.com\/-CN1BnvKGgB0\/TYzW9vO0rAI\/AAAAAAAAJSw\/khAQZLL50Tw\/s1600\/DSC00715.JPG\" imageanchor=\"1\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\nMS is a chronic, often disabling disease that attacks the central nervous system (CNS), which is made up of the brain, spinal cord, and optic nerves. Symptoms may be mild, such as numbness in the limbs, or severe, such as paralysis or loss of vision. The progress, severity, and specific symptoms of MS are unpredictable and vary from one person to another. However, she did not give up and let go of her artistic talents. Instead, she put them to good use in new ways. Margaret\u2019s family has made it a tradition to participate in MS Walk Atlanta every year.  This year, Accent D\u00e9cor wants to get involved. Accent D\u00e9cor has pledged to match every donation our team raises dollar for dollar up to $5,000! That means we could potentially give $10,000 to the National MS Society in order to research for a cure!
