As we welcome a New Year, it’s only natural to reflect on the previous months. For everyone, 2020 brought unimaginable challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the waves of social injustice that impacted our nation. While the promise of a new decade subsided, we stood united, committed to doing the right thing. Supporting our community both around the corner and across the globe is at the forefront of our core values and that call-to-action had never felt more urgent.
Every year, Accent Decor invests in the future by sharing 6% of our gross profits. Thanks to our amazing customers, we were able to give back in meaningful ways. Throughout 2020, we donated to the Red Cross, donated masks to hospitals lacking PPE, supported We the Protesters, donated a portion of Celfie sales to Gyrl Wonder, donated funds to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, supplied rent relief, donated computers + supplies to schools in underserved neighborhoods and gave to food banks to fuel and nourish hungry + scared children.
We ended the year by sending out 400 encouragement holiday gift bags to teachers + group homes in both Georgia and Michigan along with matching the Atlanta Food Bank during their final holiday push and supporting Childhelp in California.
Again, Accent Decor was able to donate meaningfully because of the generosity of our customers. We extend a gracious and warm thank you for enabling us to both serve you and our communities. Your artistry continually amazes us, as do your kind hearts and generous spirits.
